Pictured (l-r) - BCBC members Bryan Hlavinka, Theater Night Chair, Michael Collins, BCBC president, David Mandell, CEO-AIDS Foundation Houston, Gary Grier, Program Services Manager-AIDS Foundation Houston September 30, 2004 -- Bayou City Boys Club presents a check from the proceeds of the Summer Theater Night to AIDS Foundation Houston - Stone Soup. Representatives on hand from AIDS Foundation Houston include its CEO, David Mandell and the Program Services Manager, Gary Grier. The check was presented at a BCBC general meeting at the AIDS Foundation Houston office with BCBC members Bryan Hlavinka, Summer Theater Chair and Michael Collins, BCBC president. The Stone Soup program provides food to those stricken with HIV/AIDS in the Houston area. The check presented to Stone Soup was in the amount of $2,880.66. The money raised came from BCBC's Summer Theater Event. The amount donated will purchase roughly 115 units of food which will provide more than 1,725 meals for Stone Soup and its clients. In BCBC's history, $70,000 has been given to Stone Soup over a period of six years.
