October 19, 2005 --

The 2005 Gayest and Greatest Awards were held today by Outsmart Magazine.  The readers of this magazine once again recognized the best in the community in various categories.  Bayou City Boys Club was again selected as a favorite winning multiple awards.

For the fourth year in a row, Bayou City Boys Club (BCBC) was selected as the Favorite Social Organization.   BCBC was once again recognized as the Favorite Philanthropic Organization after winning it for the first time last year.  BCBC was also selected as a runner up to the prestigious Favorite Community Organization Award.  In addition, BCBC's largest fundraiser, Jungle party, was selected as a runner up to Favorite Benefit Event of the Year.
