        In an effort to broaden the events that BCBC offers to the community, a new event was added this year.  The event, entitled "Rise Up" - a Gospel Brunch, was widely successful.  This event held at elegant Kilworth Manor featured a live Gospel Act, a delicious brunch and bottomless mimosas.

       The beneficiary for this event was the Center for AIDS.  With attendance exceeding 300, the event was considered quite a success for a first year event.
