| In its history,
BCBC has donated over $897,000 in net proceeds. This remarkable
achievement is made possible by generous individual donations and
in-kind support from local businesses. BCBC's goal is to secure
complete underwriting of the cost of each event, which enables a
donation of 100% of proceeds from ticket sales as grants directed to
the designated beneficiaries. Beneficiaries for each event are
selected by BCBC's members based on written proposals from the organizations
which are reviewed during general membership meetings. Any local
HIV/AIDS related organization is welcome to submit a proposal to
become a beneficiary.
